Arbutus Visio is a single-person cinematography and post production operation created by Mika Kanz and based in Portland, Oregon. The name Arbutus Visio is a combination of two words, Arbutus, the Latin classification of the Pacific Madrone tree, and the Latin word for vision. Abbreviated as AV, the same abbreviation as audio visual.
Currently Arbutus Visio offers both production and post production services, including, but not limited to brand videos, short documentaries, short and long form social media content editing (TikTok, Reels & YouTube), and narrative/documentary editing.
